TZ250 YAMAHA
Phil has a passion for these sexy little speed machines.
His racing career started on a TZ250, both at short circuit and in the IOM, finishing 3rd in the newcomers race in 2002. Phil progressed rapidly from the 250 to the 600 but returned to the 250 when they became eligible for the Post Classic MGP race.
There are plans to ride this bike again, but the schedules in the IOM are too tight to allow the team to run more bikes than the three that are this years entries [600 Honda / Goldstar / Drixton].
Phil’s very hands on approach to the engineering does however see him planning this little bikes big comeback in 2019. That means many more hours of engineering, testing and certifying... but it's all part of the fun !
