Honda CBR 600RR

Phil built this 600 machine with assistance from Nikki Kennedy.

They took a brand new bike in 2006 and made various revisions and modifications.  Over the years many of these custom items have been designed and manufactured by Phil.

The best result on this bike came in the 2008 Junior MGP achieving a 3rd place behind Dan Kneen and Ryan McCay.  Later that week in the Senior MGP Phil achieved his best ever lap, managing 118mph from a standing start, however this was followed by a spill at the Black Dub on the second lap.

The bike had been mothballed for a few years but the pride and passion never left and it was resurrected in 2017, which unfortunately ended with an engine failure in the Junior race.

The engine has now been rebuilt and tested at Aintree short circuit over two meetings and all seems good. Phil will be racing this machine in the Junior MGP this year.
